Hide Update
We planned to have our Kingfisher hide open originally this Summer but record high water levels from Jan-Apr put the build back a few months. We then were gearing up for an Autumn launch but yet again unprecedented rainfall at the end of September the Thames burst its banks with the highest levels on record outside of winter. This has changed the birds normal fishing locations and they are now hunting in the flood plains and riverside gardens up to 100m from the river.
We know many people were excited to visit the hide this year but feel it best we concentrate on next year now, so......

We have exclusive use of the Kingfisher hide within the grounds of The Swan Hotel, Streatley adjacent to The River Thames. The hide has been specifically designed for photography and nestled into the environment taking advantage of a well established natural fishing spot. It accommodates 4 photographers comfortably and allows for a 2 camera setup per person.
