We will meet close to the Barnett Hill Hotel, and explore the surrounding areas together.
There is a whole array of wildlife here to be spotted and heard - from the woodland varieties like the Nuthatch, Chiffchaff, Woodpeckers and Treecreeper - to some flyovers if we are lucky of Peregrine, Kestrel and Buzzard.

The recent highlights have been the resident Firecrests who have loved to perform for us!

There is also an array of insects and on the woodland trail you can find an abundance on the forest floor and on the trees. It is also a good area to spot the odd Tawny Owl sleeping the day off up high on a branch.
