Who Are We

Our passion is Wildlife, to introduce people to the wonders of it and benefits it can bring together with the understanding and conservation of habitats so that our wildlife continue to thrive.

Our founder and MD Steve Gozdz has always had a keen interest in Wildlife especially birds from a very young age, growing up in surrey surrounded by local wildlife and even breeding cage & aviary birds for many years. 

Most of his working life has been in the Hospitality and construction project management sectors, but from a very young age he has always had a connection with wildlife, especially birds. Together also with a passion for photography he shared his photographs and knowledge mainly with friends and family.

With the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 Pandemic, like many others he found himself out of work only a few months after his partner and he moved to the Chilterns to be closer to nature.

During the initial Lockdown he took this time to explore thoroughly the surrounding countryside, taking many photos of the wildlife he observed and studied and shared them with others on social media. There was such an appreciation of his photographs and knowledge of the local wildlife he received many requests to come out with him.

Once out of lockdown he then took a few local people out with him on his walks, they loved it and more importantly wanted to go out again and learn more about our wonderful wildlife. As a result Goring Gap Wildlife Walks was born. Since then we no longer just cover the Goring Gap* and also no longer only do walks but provide amazing wildlife experiences. Given this we felt it more appropriate that we change our name to GG Wildlife Experiences.

Steve's walks and experiences have been mentioned both on BBC radio and featured in the Guardian as well as many local publications. The 5* reviews he receives are a testament to his love for nature together with his passion to share the beauty and knowledge of our amazing wildlife.
