The Itinerary

The experience starts early typically within 1hr of sunrise, the exact meeting point will be provided within the booking confirmation, parking is available at The Swan hotel, Streatley

Guests will be given a short introduction on arrival by Steve, your Wildlife Guide, you will then put on our life jackets before boarding. We head down river towards Pangbourne on The River Thames where the distance and pace will completely depend on how much we see and hear, and any photos we want to capture.

What will we see?

Every trip is different but this stretch of river is particularly good for Kingfisher as we will pass through 7 known territories, also the possibility of the following: Mandarin Ducks, Little Egret, Great Crested Grebe, Grey Herons, Cormorants, Grey Wagtail, Geese, Ducks, Red Kite, Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, there's even the chance of seeing an Otter or two.

Do you like to photograph Wildlife?

If you have questions around camera equipment or set up, it is advised you contact us in advance so this can be covered off either by message or in a short 121 Photography Session, to ensure you get the best out of your experience on the day, and can focus on your captures.

Don't worry if your not a photographer as Steve will share photos from the day afterwards.
