Starting with hedgerows and cornfields, where Yellowhammers sing for a piece of "bread with no cheese" and Skylarks hover up high projecting their song across the land. At the halfway point a short climb to the edge of Hartslock Nature Reserve and then we climb some more to a picturesque summit where Wild Orchids can be found and raptors soar below us. A stunning panoramic view of the Goring Gap can be savoured before we head down to the Thames Path where, fingers crossed we will see that beautiful iridescent blue flash of a Kingfisher! (Total distance 4 Miles)
