Walking Up an Appetite

Approx 2-2.5hrs

This walk is simply beautiful with The Thames beside you and the wildlife all around both in and out of the water. We will be looking out for warblers such as the Cetti’s and Chiffchaff and also Reed Buntings and flocks of Linnet. In the Spring we see the arrival of other warblers like Sedge, Reed and Willow and there are always Gold Crest and even a few Firecrest in the vicinity. We always see our beautiful Red Kites but also  Sparrowhawks soar over the river looking for a snack or two. And of course the waterside birds such as the Grey Wagtail, Cormorant and our stunning local Kingfishers!

On arrival at The Beetle & Wedge, there will be a table reserved in your name, and Steve will leave you to enjoy your riverside lunch and drinks.
(All Food & Drinks ordered payable directly to B&W this is not include in the walk price).

You can then return at your own pace after you have finished your lunch.
